About us

Welcome to Hull Adult Education! As part of Hull City Council, we deliver a wide range of courses to adults in different subject areas. We have centres located across the city and use many community venues to deliver our courses.

Courses are wide and various and include everything from skills to support you gain
work, to more relaxed courses that promote health and wellbeing, such as arts,
crafts, music and fitness.

  • What Makes Us Different

    Hull Adult Education is probably one of Hull’s best kept secrets! We offer hundreds of courses each year to over 6000 learners in a wide range of subjects. As well as the more traditional courses to gain skills and qualifications we also have lots of workshops and short courses that offer something different.  If you are looking to learn a new hobby, develop an existing skill or rediscover a forgotten talent, look no further! With everything from arts to crafts, music to cookery we are sure to have something for everyone.

    As you'd expect, you'll always be well supported by a our tutors and if you need extra help we will work with you to put in place any support needed.
