Unlike many subjects, there is no wrong answer when it comes to Art. Art is all about expression and creativity. The subject has one of the longest histories of all and an alumni of incredible artists and inventors. The syllabus will further the skills learnt at GCSE and teach new ways to explore and express through art,craft and design. Students that have learnt from this creative structure tend to flourish in creative careers such as Marketing, Design and Production
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at 4 or above including English and maths. This should include Art GCSE at 6 or above and/or a portfolio of work.
Students who have studied Art go on to study Art at University or progress to a higher level apprenticeship in a creative field.
