This qualification has been developed by a variety of multinational organisations, and is aimed at professionals who are responsible for organisational or department procurement and supply.

Roles could extend to a huge range of commercial activity such as influencing policy, financial analysis, engaging in contract law, and developing strategy to deliver services.

CIPS- Diploma in Procurement and Supply: Level 4.

• Scope and influence of procurement and supply- 12 Credits
• Defining business need- 6 Credits
• Ethical and responsible sourcing- 6 Credits
• Supplier relationships-6 Credits
• Commercial contracting- 6Ccredits
• Commercial negotiation- 6 Credits
• Whole life asset management- 6 Credits
• Procurement and supply in practice- 12 Credits

How will it be delivered?

Diploma in Procurement and Supply level 4.
(Knowledge Qualification)

Assessment is conducted through CIPS directed formal exams, staged periodically throughout the year.

End Point Assessment (EPA)- Apprenticeship

Typically, 6 Months
Gateway Requirements-
Successful Completion of CIPS Level 4.
English and Maths, level 2.
EPAO to agree the title and scope of a work based project.
EPA consists of 2 assessment methods:
Project Report- Should be a formal business report of 5000 words
(+/- 10%)
Completed in work after EPA gateway.
Presentation and questioning by an EPA panel.

Entry requirements

This course is particularly aimed at adult learners.  To register you will need to contact the Course Leader. You will need the following minimum educational requirements:-

Two subjects at GCE Advanced Level plus three additional GCSE subject passes at Grade C or above, or equivalent. 
Any professional qualifications deemed by the Institute to be equivalent or in advance of the above.

Students will need an appropriate level of literacy and numeracy to enable them to meet the requirements of independent study at this level.
