This is aimed at people working as bricklayers carrying out tasks such as setting out basic structures, building brick and block walling, laying domestic drainage, placing and finishing concrete and rendering surfaces.
How to carry out safe working practices in construction Interpreting working drawings to set out masonry structures Thin joint masonry cladding Building solid walling, isolated and attached piers Building cavity walling forming masonry structures
How will it be delivered?
The course is assessed through observation, underpinning knowledge questions and the development of a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate competence.
Many apprenticeships do not have formal entry requirements other than you must be working in an appropriate job.
