We are delighted that you are considering joining our family at Goole College.
The College has developed greatly in recent years and continues to do so to meet the needs of our local economy, providing you with the best facilities and equipment to support your achievement such as our popular Carpentry and Joinery workshop, or our state-of-the-art Welding Workshop, Hairdressing Salon or Business and Logistics Centre which continues to buzz with activity.
We continue to expand our provision of Health & Care study programmes that could see you training in a range of settings, from auxiliary nursing or social care to childcare or clinical support work, and we’d love you to join us in developing the local healthcare workforce of the future.
We can offer you a friendly, supportive and inclusive environment in which to study and a close knit community of students and staff to lift you up and celebrate your success.
But don’t take my word for it. Visit our website for further information and come along to one of our open events to speak to our tutors and experience first-hand everything we have to offer.
We look forward to welcoming you to the family.

What makes us different?
Why choose Goole College?
87%* of our students progress to either further study or employment within 6 months of completing their programme.
The College has links with a wide range of employers in many industries. This means you have the opportunity to build up a network of contacts and learn from the experts at employer events and by working on live projects. National and global employers such as Croda, BMW, Drax, The Press Association and Tesco Distribution are part of the Goole College Consultative Group and meet on a regular basis to advise the Principal on the qualifications that these industries will need in the future. This enables us to ensure that we are providing the skills and knowledge to our students which will assist them in obtaining a job in the future.
Industry facilities preparing students for work
Our training facilities include hair and beauty salons, IT suites and an engineering workshop which specialises in fabrication and welding. A new addition for the future is a number of virtual fabrication and welding machines which will provide further opportunities for future and existing engineers to increase their skills. Goole College is part of the Hull College Group which means that students are also able to access further resources including vocationally trained staff at Hull and Harrogate Colleges.
